Eduard F. Sekler

El proper 16 de març els professors de l’assignatura Composició IV, a les 12:15 comentaran l’exposició Sekler: in memoriam que es pot visitar a la Biblioteca fins el proper 23 de març. L’exposició està formada per llibres de les Biblioteques UPC, Biblioteca del COAC, Biblioteca de la Fundació Joan Miró i Biblioteca d’Humanitats de la UAB. Encara que la visita està adreçada principalment als estudiants d’aquesta assignatura, la visita estarà oberta a tothom. Us animem a venir-hi!

Exposició Portafolis

Del 12 al 23 de març s’exposaran a la Biblioteca els portafolis dels estudiants que el passat quadrimestre van acabar el grau. Als autors podran recollir-los un cop ens hi retrobem després de Setmana Santa, a partir del 3 d’abril. Així mateix us recordem que la Biblioteca guarda portafolis d’edicions anteriors, si els voleu consultar, si us plau, demaneu-los al taulell de préstec.

Vídeos i conferències

El 15 de febrer, l’economista i estadístic José Manuel Naredo (Madrid, 1942), va ser l’encarregat d’impartir la lliçó inaugural del curs 2017-2018 de l’ETSAV. La conferència es titulava “economia i ecologia de les ciutats” i  portava com a subtítol “la incidència dels models immobiliaris en el metabolisme urbà, el territori i el clima”. Per saber més coses sobre José Manuel Naredo consulteu els llibres que trobareu a la xarxa de Biblioteques UPC.

On 23 april you will be able to take part in one of the most original celebrations in Catalonia - Sant Jordi. The World Book Day becomes here an especially romantic festivity, and catalan people celebrate the day of their patron saint, Sant Jordi, exchanging gifts: a book for the men and a rose for the women. For that reason most of the libraries prepare special activities and our Library won't be an exception. For the forthcoming Sant Jordi's Day our proposal is to make a photography contest. Architecture is your passion? Do you like books? Mix it all, go on, and participate!

Guided visit to the Eduard Sekler's books exhitibion. Next 16th march, the exhibition about Eduard Sekler will be commented by the teachers of the subject "Composition IV" (in Spanish or Catalan). The exhibition can be seen in the ETSAV Library until March 23.

Portfolios exhibition in the ETSAV Library. From 12 to 23 March, final projects (portfolios) of "Degree in Architecture" students can be browsed on the round table of the ETSAV Library (where new book acquisitions are usually exposed). Student portfolios of previous years are also available. Please ask for them at the Library desk.

Last February 15 was performed the inaugural lecture for the new academic course. The speaker was the statistician and economist Jose Manuel Naredo. Do you want to know his opinion about city planning, politics, environment and economy? It's really very interesting! Have a look at the video's lecture! (in Spanish)
