CSUC Training on Amnesia
The Consortium of University Services of Catalonia (CSUC) is organizing several training sessions in Spanish during 2026 on OpenAIRE's Amnesia, a key tool for the secure management of research data.
Data anonymization with Amnesia: a practical case
- June 17, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
- October 22, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
What does this tool bring to your research?
Simple pseudonymization: It allows easy pseudonymization of sensitive datasets (surveys, medical histories, financial or employment data). It removes or replaces direct identifiers to drastically reduce the risk of re-identification, facilitating GDPR compliance.
Maximum local security: The application runs entirely locally on your computer without transmitting data over the Internet, which guarantees maximum confidentiality and saves complex administrative procedures associated with managing sensitive information.
