El Consell de Govern de la UPC ha aprovat la nova normativa que regula les obligacions i responsabilitats del personal investigador en la gestió de les seves dades de recerca.

Com a investigador/a de la UPC, aquests són els principals aspectes que cal considerar en els nous projectes:

• Recollida responsable: Recollir i organitzar les dades d’acord amb els principis ètics i la protecció de dades personals.
• Pla de Gestió de Dades (PGD): És obligatori elaborar-lo i dipositar-lo a UPCommons.
• Emmagatzematge: Desar les dades de recerca sempre en entorns segurs.
• Publicació FAIR: Publicar les dades seguint els principis FAIR en repositoris de confiança com CORA.RDR.
• Registre a DRAC: Informar obligatòriament a la plataforma DRAC de tots els datasets que hagis publicat.
• Comitè d'Ètica: Si la teva recerca implica l’ús de dades personals o l’experimentació com a persones, el Comitè d’Ètica ha d'avaluar ex ante el projecte i emetre un dictamen favorable.

UPC Regulations on Research Data Management

The UPC Governing Council has approved the new regulations governing the obligations and responsibilities of research staff regarding the management of their research data.

As a UPC researcher, these are the main aspects to consider for new projects:

• Responsible collection: Collect and organize data in accordance with ethical principles and personal data protection.
• Data Management Plan (DMP): It is mandatory to draft it and deposit it in UPCommons.
• Storage: Always save research data in secure environments.
• FAIR Publication: Publish data following the FAIR principles in trusted repositories such as CORA.RDR.
• DRAC Registration: It is mandatory to report all published datasets in the DRAC platform.
• Ethics Committee: If your research involves the use of personal data or human experimentation, the Ethics Committee must evaluate the project ex ante and issue a favorable opinion.

What does this tool bring to your research?
