Guia bàsica sobre el procés de publicació dels articles científics
Els professors de la UPF Lluís Codina i Carlos Lopezosa són els autors de la guia 'Escriptura d'articles científics: estructura, redacció, fases i publicació'.
Aquest treball presenta els elements més importants per redactar i publicar articles científics com:
- la selecció de revistes on publicar
- el procés de peer review
- els costos de publicació (APC)
- la visibilitat i l'impacte de les publicacions
- la identitat digital dels autors, etc.

Setmana de l'Accés obert 2023: "La comunitat enfront de la comercialització"
L'Open Access Week s'organitza anualment a l'octubre. Inclou sessions científiques i activitats promocionals per compartir i aprendre sobre els beneficis de l'accés obert i la ciència oberta.
"La comunitat davant de la comercialització" és el tema de la Setmana Internacional de l'Accés Obert d'aquest any. Aquest tema fomenta una conversa honesta sobre els enfocaments de la ciència oberta que prioritzen els millors interessos del públic i de la comunitat acadèmica i els que no ho fan.

En cas de publicar articles en co-autoria amb membres d'altres institucions i/o països, es recomana consultar l'ESAC (Efficiency and Standards for Article Charges), registre mundial d'acords transformatius per conèixer quins autors/es poden beneficiar-se d'acords transformatius i decidir l'autor/a de correspondència.

'El Mag', de Colm Tóibín, és el primer llibre del Club de lectura, organitzat per ACTES - Alumni Ciència, Tecnologia i Societat de l'ESEIAAT, que tindrà lloc a partir d'ara, a la Biblioteca del Campus de Terrassa, cada darrer dimecres de mes.

Open Access Week 2023: "The Community Facing Commercialization"
Open Access Week is organized annually in October. It includes scientific sessions and promotional activities to share and learn about the benefits of open access and open science.
"The Community Facing Commercialization" is the theme of this year's International Open Access Week. This theme encourages an honest conversation about open science approaches that prioritize the best interests of the public and the academic community and those that do not.

Participate in the Library's Book Club
"El Mag" by Colm Tóibín is the first book of the Book Club, organized by ACTES - Alumni Science, Technology, and Society of ESEIAAT, which will take place from now on at the Library on the Terrassa Campus, every last Wednesday of the month.
The activity will occur on Wednesday, October 25th, at 18:30. Prior registration is required.
