All UNE standards can be consulted and downloaded through AENORmás, the database subscribed by the UPC.
They are for personal academic use only. They can be printed, but they cannot be saved or scanned.
You could be plagiarising if you include third-party images or fragments of images in your thesis without citing the source correctly.
To avoid this, make sure that you comply with the conditions of Article 32.1 of the Intellectual Property Law:
Predatory journals accept articles for publication with little scientific rigor and without performing external evaluation processes.
Authors have to pay fees to publish articles but it is important not to confuse them with open access journals.
Learn to differentiate them!
Citizen science is the open participation of the general public in research processes and activities.
The UPC brings together all the projects that require citizen participation to obtain results in a single portal, which also includes a selection of citizen science resources.
If you want to do open science, check out the actions proposed by the ORION open science project and the rainbow of open science practices infographic.
