Transformative agreement with ACM
The transformative agreement with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) allows publishing in its journals and conferences in open access.

Personal signature, institutional affiliation and ORCID
Whenever you sign a journal article or any other publication or academic work, follow these three guidelines:
- Cite the UPC correctly:
Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - BarcelonaTech (UPC)
- Always use the same signature
- Add your ORCID identifier
Following these recommendations you improve the visibility of your publications and the institution [the institutional positioning in national and international rankings].

Update of the ranking of female researchers in Google Scholar
CSIC will update this year the women researchers ranking to enhance the visibility of female talent and Open Science. This classification will use combined data from Google Scholar and OpenAlex, using the ORCID identifier as the linking element between both platforms.
Having an up-to-date ORCID profile ensures that your scientific output is attributed to you unequivocally, avoiding confusion with other authors who share the same name.
