UPCommons: new version

UPCommons: new version

UPCommons, the UPC institutional repository that collects, manages and disseminates the university's teaching and research production in open access, has obtained the FECYT Open Access Repository Quality Label.
Its new interface offers a more modern, intuitive and fast navigation, with visual indicators of the type of document and access conditions, and new metrics such as PlumX and Dimensions, which are added to Altmetrics and Scopus citations. The improved search allows you to view results in a list or grid, apply filters by facets and navigate through thematic trees such as the UPC Areas or the Sustainable Development Goals.

Improvements have also been introduced in usage statistics, with new beta reports that show accesses by city or university and the possibility of subscribing to communities or collections to receive notifications.

All information about the repository is available in the new UPCommons Biblioguia.

How to declare the use of generative AI tools in the writing of a scientific text

How to declare the use of generative AI tools in the writing of a scientific text

Major scientific publishers subscribe to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) statement on the use of generative artificial intelligence tools for authors and reviewers. In general, the statement on the use of generative artificial intelligence tools should contain the following elements:

  • Tool(s) used, indicating the versions of the software
  • Purpose of their use
  • Specific parts or sections in which they have been used, if applicable
  • Review and editing by the authors of the result generated by the tool, if applicable
  • Declaration of responsibility as authors for the contents of the work
Before submitting a manuscript, always check the specific policies in this regard on the websites of the publishers.
