Free request of journal articles via interlibrary loan

Doctorate School academic regulations news
The agreement of the Governing Council CG/2023/09/08 (December 19, 2023) includes the changes that regulate the official doctoral courses and incorporates the provisions of the UPC Open Science Roadmap 2025 that provides for the requirement of including a data management plan in the research plan submitted by doctoral students before they finish their first year of studies.
In Bibliotècnica you will find a collection of information and resources related to Open Science at the UPC and the Data Management Plan.

Research data management
The Consorci de Serveis Universitaris de Catalunya (CSUC) offers, via Teams, 2 courses related to data management:
- How to make a data management plan with the eiNa DMP - February 21 (9 a.m. to 10 a.m.)
- Publish research data with the Research Data Repository - March 6 (9 a.m. to 10 a.m.)
There are no enrollment limit and no prior registration is required.

Web of Science now includes theses
The Web of Science database has expanded its content with 172 million citations from the 5.5 million theses available in the ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Citation Index database also available within the platform.
Theses come from 4,000 international institutions in more than 60 countries.

New Springer eBook Collections
Collections of e-books Engineering 2018 and Mathematics & Statistics 2014 and 2015 have been purchased from the publisher Springer. It means that more than 2,200 titles have became part of the UPC's perpetual access collection.
You can access the collection through the SpringerLink platform.
