Student survey on UPC libraries

More APC for 2023
Transformative agreements are journal subscription agreements between publishers and universities or consortia, which include a certain number of Article Processing Charges for publishing articles in immediate open access.
During the article acceptance process, when the corresponding author indicates that they want to publish in open access, the publisher contacts the library to verify that all requirements are met.
For 2023 the allocation criteria are:
- UPC link
- UPC membership
- ORCID code
- Link to the UPC research group when the doctoral student has a contractual link with the UPC
The UPC has transformative agreements with publishers as Elsevier, Wiley, Springer and the American Chemical Society (ACS). Grants are also available to publish in journals from Frontiers, the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), SCOAP3, Open Research Europe and the journals published by the UPC.

Scopus: I Online training cycle 2023
FECYT and Elsevier organize online training sessions about Scopus database, free of charge and in Spanish.
The training will take place from March 20 to 24 through the GoToWebinar tool, and will be open to all students who have an @upc.edu email to register.
Some of the webinars are:

- Scopus: advanced search
- Beyond Scopus

The Library UPC of things
The UPC library of things collects the collections of non-book material that are lent in the libraries and that are linked to the teaching activity and the educational project of the University with the aim of contributing to the promotion of the culture of reuse.
Among the "things" you'll find there are: laptops, calculators, cameras, tripods, board games, video games and virtual reality glasses.
