Need to publish an article but don’t know how to choose the right journal?
Bibliotècnica has a page that lists many of the factors you need to keep in mind when choosing the journal in which to publish. You will also find the instructions for authors of the major publishers and tools to avoid falling into the hands of predatory journals.
Finding the right journal in which to publish is not always easy. If in doubt, remember that your library can help you.
When you are working on your thesis you can request books and copies of articles that are not available at UPC libraries.
The UPC Interlibrary Loans Service provides all types of documents from any country in the world and in any language.
Also keep in mind that copies of journal articles or parts of books in UPC library collections are free as long as the Intellectual Property Law is respected.
Google Scholar Citation groups all of a researcher’s publications together and shows the citations received.
