Your Thesis in 4 Minutes

Your Thesis in 4 Minutes

The competition, which is organised by the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation, proposes that doctoral candidates in any discipline take on the challenge of explaining their research to a lay audience in a maximum of four minutes.

The UPC Doctoral School organised the institutional final at the UPC, which was held on 12 May, the Open Day, and broadcast on YouTube.

The UPC representative at the interuniversity final will be Javier Argüello Luengo, from the doctoral degree in Photonics, who presented the research Construyendo la simulación cuántica [Building quantum simulation].

Congratulations, Javier, and good luck in the final!
