More editions of the training workshops on in the "Your doctoral thesis" pathway:
The welcome ceremony for new doctoral students took place at the UPC on 26 November.
It included a lecture by Professor Antoni Olivé and presentations by the Libraries, Publications and Archives Service, the International Students Office and the Language and Terminology Service.
The Doctoral Student Council is the representation body of the UPC’s doctoral candidates.
It fosters their participation in all aspects of university life.
Congratulations to the holders of UPC doctoral degrees who received a special doctoral award in the 2021 call, corresponding to doctoral theses by students in the 2018-2019 graduation year.

This year, the Rector Gabriel Ferraté Library has compiled the ranking of most consulted UPC doctoral theses published in 2019 and 2020, which ranks the 25 most consulted UPC doctoral theses in UPCommons.
Revista de Tecnologia has published an article on the career prospects of doctoral degree holders in engineering and architecture in Catalonia.
It presents the results of the graduate employment survey by the Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency (AQU) of holders of doctoral degrees in the areas of industrial technologies, information and communication technologies (ICTs) and architecture, construction and civil engineering.
