Nou objectiu
La Biblioteca ETSAV incorpora un objectiu "ull de peix" al seu equipament fotogràfic
Els equipaments docents del Laboratori d'Innovació i Tecnologia en l'Arquitectura (LiTA), que es troben disponibles en préstec a la Biblioteca ETSAV, incorporen un nou accessori per a la càmera de fotografiar NIKON. Es tracta d'un objectiu "ull de peix" (model Sigma Fisheye 4.5 mm f/2.8), que deforma la imatge tot perdent el paral·lelisme de les línies laterals, que es corben, aconseguint una distorsió semblant a una imatge reflectida en una esfera. Inicialment van ser desenvolupats per fer-se servir en meteorologia, per estudiar la formació de núvols, però aviat es van convertir en objectius populars per les imatges úniques que aconsegueixen.
En arquitectura, les fotografies d'un espai fetes amb un objectiu "ull de peix" serveixen per fer càlculs lumínics.

The Digital Memory of the UPC is the new portal that collects, disseminates and guarantees the preservation of the photographic heritage of the University. There are more than 6,000 photographs in 372 reports and they show the academic, social and cultural life of the UPC.

Following the award of the 2019 National Architecture Award to Álvaro Siza, the Library has organized a little exhibition with some of its books that deal his architectural work. We hope it is your interest!
The ETSAV Library adds a fisheye objective in its photographic equipment. The teaching equipment of the Innnovation and Technology LAB (LiTA), which is available on loan to the ETSAV Library, incorporates a new accessory for the NIKON camera. This is a fisheye objective (Sigma Fisheye 4.5 mm f/ 2.8 model), which deforms the image while losing the parallelism of the lateral lines, which are curved, achieving a distortion similar to an image reflected in a sphere. Initially they were developed to be used in meteorology, to study the formation of clouds, but soon they became popular objectives for the unique images that they achieve. In architecture, photographs of a space made with a fisheye objective are used to make light calculations.
