Novetats bibliogràfiques a l'ETSAV

Life Reusing Posidonia

Coincidint amb la l’exposició “Life Reusing Posidonia” ja tenim a la Biblioteca dos exemplars del llibre que acompanya la mostra i que tracta el treball desenvolupat en el context del Projecte Life+ 2012. El treball, un exemple de bioarquitectura, ha consistit en la construcció eficient de 14 habitatges fent ús de la posidònia com a material constructiu,  quelcom que ha suposat la potenciació de la tradició cultural local, una major eficiència energètica i un ús de tecnologies ecològiques.

100 anys de Sáinz de Oiza i 50 de Torres Blancas

Per commemorar el 100è aniversari del naixement de l’arquitecte Sáinz de Oiza i el 50è aniversari d’una de les seves obres més emblemàtiques, Torres Blancas, la Biblioteca organitzarà del 21 de maig al 15 de juny una exposició bibliogràfica amb una selecció de documents i altre material que analitzen i tracten  la seva obra.

Accés als recursos electrònics

Per consultar dins i fora del campus els recursos electrònics subscrits per la UPC ara cal validar-se com a membre de la comunitat universitària.
Des de Biblioteques hem habilitat el botó eBIB que et permet autenticar-te. Només cal que l’instal·lis al teu navegador i l’utilitzis sempre que vulguis accedir a un recurs de pagament que la UPC hagi subscrit.
A aquests recursos també hi podràs accedir via catàleg.

La calle y la casa : urbanismo de interiores

El dimecres 11 d’abril, el catedràtic de Projectes arquitectònics Xavier Monteys va impartir una conferència, a la sala d’actes de l’ETSAV, basada en el seu llibre recentment publicat "La calle y la casa : urbanismo de interiores".

First Aid

El dijous 15 de març de 2018 hi va haver a la Sala d’Actes de l’ETSAV una conferència del cicle “Open Lectures”, organitzada per l'Illinois Architecture Study Abroad Program (IASAP-BV). El conferenciant convidat va ser Stanislaus von Moos, historiador i crític d'art suís, professor a Harvard, Berna, Nova York, Delft, i finalment a Zuric, on va treballar al Departament d'Art Modern i Contemporani fins a la seva jubilació l’any 2005.

Life reusing Posidonia

The exhibition "Life reusing Posidonia" is being displayed at the ETSAV's hall. Posidonia is a marine plant ("seagrass") found in the Mediterranean sea. The exhibition deals with the building of 14 houses in Sant Ferran (Formentera island) using Posidonia as a constructive material. This project, funded by EU LIFE +2012 program, contributes to the development of technologies, innovative methods and tools in the field of nature conservation, climate change, environmental policy and information and communication on environmental issues. 100 years of Sáinz de Oiza and 50 of Torres Blancas

To commemorate the 100th birth anniversary of the architect Sáinz de Oiza, and the 50th anniversary of one of his most emblematic works, Torres Blancas, the Library will organize an exhibition with a selection of Oiza's books, documents and other related material. Don't forget visiting it from May 21 to June 15 !

Where eve you are, take advantage of all this e-journals, e-books and bibliographic databases, just authenticating your UPC identity through the eBIB system. Drag the eBIB button to your bookmarks bar, go to the homepage of the resource and press the eBIB button if you are accessing the resource through an external search engine (e.g. Google), a shortcut, a bookmark or a website. Architecture and Letters

On April 23, the verdict of the jury of the Architecture and Letters Photography Competition was published. The 1st prize was for the photography entitled "Substitution", taken by Tatiana Snihur, the 2nd prize was for the photography entitled "The closed circle", taken by Laia Crivillé, and the 3rd prize was for the photography entitled "Serpenteando la ciudad", taken by Aleix Barrio. Congratulations and thank you very much to everyone for your participation!
