Overleaf Professional

La UPC posa a disposició del personal docent i investigador i de l'estudiantat de doctorat l'accés a la versió Overleaf Professional, l'editor de LaTeX col·laboratiu en línia, per facilitar la creació i gestió dels seus projectes acadèmics.

Els estudiants poden crear comptes gratuïts per col·laborar en projectes compartits amb els seus professors.

Overleaf està dissenyat per simplificar i accelerar el procés d'escriptura, edició i producció de treballs de recerca, informes i altres documents acadèmics, tant per a l’usuari com per als seus col·laboradors. A més, Overleaf es pot integrar amb altres eines i serveis per adaptar-se millor al teu flux de treball.

Per accedir a Overleaf Professional, registra't o inicia sessió amb la teva adreça de correu electrònic institucional de la UPC (@upc.edu).

• Gestors de referència (en línia, cat/cas), 26 de febrer, de 15 a 17h
• Reference management softwares (en línia, ang), 26 de febrer, d'11 a 13h

Punts PAR i PATT 2025

Publicat el calendari per al càlcul dels Punts per Activitats de Recerca (PAR) i Punts per Activitats de Transferència de Tecnologia (PATT) de l'any 2025. Les dates més rellevants són: 

• 23 de febrer a 27 de febrer: darrera setmana per introduir a DRAC les activitats de l’any 2025.
• 15 de maig: càlcul provisional dels punts PAR i PATT.
• 18 de maig al 5 de juny: presentació d’al·legacions a les valoracions amb punts per part del professorat i personal investigador.
• 30 de juny: publicació dels PAR i PATT definitius i finalització del procés de càlcul dels indicadors.

SÍLICE: primer cercador de literatura científica espanyola

S'ha posat en marxa SÍLICE (Sistema de Información sobre Literatura Científica Española), una plataforma oberta i flexible per a l'anàlisi de la producció científica espanyola.  

Es tracta d'una iniciativa gratuïta que conté més de 18 milions de publicacions (2 milions espanyoles) i que es basa exclusivament en fonts obertes com Crossref, OpenCitations i OpenAlex. 

Permet generar indicadors d’impacte i atenció, així com mètriques innovadores alineades amb les tendències actuals d’avaluació (CoARA, DORA).

Us podeu registrar a la plataforma amb el vostre ORCID per posar al dia el vostre perfil d'investigador.

Overleaf Professional
UPC is now making Overleaf Professional available to all teaching and research staff, as well as PhD students. This online collaborative LaTeX editor is designed to make creating and managing your academic projects much smoother.
Students can also set up free accounts to collaborate on shared projects with their lecturers.
Overleaf aims to simplify and speed up the writing, editing, and production of research papers, reports, and other academic documents for both you and your collaborators. What’s more, it can be integrated with various other tools and services to fit right into your workflow.
To get started with Overleaf Professional, simply register or log in using your UPC institutional email address (@upc.edu).

PAR and PATT Points 2025
The 2025 calendar for calculating Research Activity Points (PAR) and Technology Transfer Activity Points (PATT) has now been published. Key dates to remember are:

• 23 – 27 February: Final week to upload your 2025 activities into DRAC.
• 15 May: Provisional PAR and PATT scores released.
• 18 May – 5 June: Period for teaching and research staff to submit appeals regarding point allocations.
• 30 June: Publication of final PAR and PATT scores and completion of the calculation process.

SÍLICE: The first search engine for Spanish scientific literature
SÍLICE (Spanish Scientific Literature Information System) has been launched—an open and flexible platform designed to analyse Spanish research output.
This free initiative features over 18 million publications (including 2 million from Spain) and is based exclusively on open sources such as Crossref, OpenCitations, and OpenAlex.
The platform allows you to generate impact and attention indicators, as well as innovative metrics aligned with current evaluation trends (CoARA, DORA).
You can register on the platform using your ORCID to update your researcher profile.
