Des del 13 d'abril els perfils d'investigadors/es a la base de dades Web of Science (WoS) s'actualitzaran automàticament i no caldrà reclamar les noves publicacions.

Clarivate va oferir el 26 d’abril un webinar per donar a conèixer les característiques essencials i com s'afegiran les publicacions de WoS al perfil d’investigador. Pots veure la gravació i consultar les diapositives.

El 15 de maig comença un nou cicle de formació de la FECYT sobre WoS al que ja et pots inscriure.

A la nova versió de DRAC ja es poden incorporar Datasets. Aquesta millora ha estat possible gràcies a la col·laboració del Servei de Biblioteques, Publicacions i Arxius de la UPC i a l'ajut econòmic rebut dins del "Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia", part del fons Next Generation EU.

La iniciativa d'Accés Obert SCOAP3 gestionada pel CERN (la UPC en forma part des del 2014) ha permès posar, des de ja fa uns anys, les revistes científiques més importants del camp de la física d'altes energies en accés obert. A mitjans del 2020 el CERN va decidir estendre la iniciativa de publicació en obert als llibres electrònics d'aquesta matèria.

A la pàgina SCOAP3 Books es pot consultar la llista dels 60 primers llibres que ja estan disponibles en accés obert.

Automatic profile updates on WoS: on 13 April, Web of Science (WoS) introduced automatic updates to its Web of Science Researcher Profiles. Researchers no longer need to claim papers as WoS will automatically update their list of publications and preprints for them. On 26 April, Clarivate offered a webinar to show these important features, and how the WoS publications will be added to the researcher’s profile. You can watch the webinar and check the slides. A new training cycle on WoS by FECYT will start on 15 May. Registration is already open.

Self-service recording room with new and updated software and equipment: you can record yourself using your presentations. You can retrieve the resulting video right after you finish the recording.

Datasets can now be added into the new version of DRAC: this upgrade has happened thanks to the collaboration of the UPC Libraries, Publications and Archives Service, as well as the financial aid from the ‘Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan’, included in the NextGenerationEU funds.

Scoap for books: 60 ebooks in Particle Physics in open access: the Open Access SCOAP3 initiative, managed by CERN, has made it possible for the most important scientific journals in the field of Particle Physics to be made open access for a few years now. In 2020, CERN decided to expand open access publishing related to Particle Physics. On the SCOAP3 Books page, you can consult the list of the first 60 books that are already available in open access.
