Obertura extraordinària per exàmens parcials

Exposició 'Dones, ciència i tecnologia'

Arrel de la celebració de la 3a edició del Congrés dones, ciència i tecnologia, la biblioteca ha seleccionat un conjunt de llibres on es visualitzen els valors de les aportacions de les dones en les ciències i la tecnologia i la integració de la perspectiva de gènere en totes les esferes de l'àmbit acadèmic i educatiu.


L'exposició es pot veure a la 1a planta de la biblioteca fins el 17 de març.
 

8M Dia Internacional de les Dones a les biblioteques UPC

El 8 de març les biblioteques de la UPC celebren el Dia Internacional de les Dones amb les següents activitats:

• Biblioteca Baix Llobregat: concurs online sobre la campanya Dones de ciència dirigida a l'estudiantat, PDI i PAS del Campus Baix Llobregat.
• Biblioteca Campus de Terrassa: exposició Dones i tecnologia amb motiu de la celebració del 3r Congrés dones ciència i tecnologia.
• Biblioteca de l'ETSEIB: exposició de Dones visionàries.
• Biblioteca de l'FME: exposició bibliogràfica sobre dones al vestíbul de l'FME i exposició de cartells de dones de la il·lustradora Isabel Ruiz Ruiz a la biblioteca i sala d'estudis i altres espais de l'FME.
• Biblioteca de l'ETSAB: exposició de fotografies de dones arquitectes, A la Biblioteca ETSAB visibilitzem les dones arquitectes.
• Biblioteca de l'EPSEB: exposició virtual 8 dones cartogràfiques.

Per acabar les biblioteques han fet un reel per visibilitzar les dones a les biblioteques de la UPC que es publicarà el mateix dia 8 de març.

La Biblioteca UPC de les coses

La Biblioteca UPC de les coses recull les col·leccions de material no llibre que es presten a les biblioteques i que estan vinculades a l’activitat docent i al projecte educatiu de la Universitat amb l'objectiu de contribuir al foment de la cultura de la reutilització.

Entre les "coses" que hi trobaràs hi ha: portàtils, calculadores, càmeres, trípodes, jocs de taula, vídeojocs i ulleres de realitat virtual. 
 

Nova biblioguia UPC: Emergència climàtica

En aquesta Biblioguia UPC trobaràs recursos d'informació relacionats amb el tema i alineats amb dos dels Objectius de Desenvolupament Sostenible (ODS):

• ODS 11: Ciutats i comunitats sostenibles
• ODS 13: Acció climàtica

La Biblioguia se suma a les 2 guies publicades i que estan relacionades també amb els ODS:

• Malbaratament alimentari
• Economia circular dels residus electrònics

Exam time at the Library: Terrassa Campus Library is extending its opening hours during midterm exams. The Library will be open 8, 9, 10, 15, and 16 April from 9.00 to 21.00.

New exhibition at the Library: ‘Women, Science, and Technology’. As part of the 3rd edition of the Women, Science and Technology Congress, the Terrassa Campus Library is displaying a collection of books that show the value ​​of women's contributions in Science and Technology as well as the inclusion of the gender perspective in all areas of the academic and educational world.The exhibition is located on the first floor, and is on until 17 March.

The UPC Libraries give support to International Women’s Day (8 March) by doing the following activities and celebrating women’s achievements:
- Baix Llobregat Campus Library: online contest about the ‘Dones de Ciència’ campaign for students, teaching and research staff, and administrative staff from the Baix Llobregat Campus. 
- Terrassa Campus Library: ‘Dones i tecnologia’ exhibition, on the occasion of the celebration of the Women, Science and Technology Congress.
- ETSEIB Library: ‘Dones visionàries’ exhibition.
- FME Library: bibliographic exhibition about women in the Library’s hall, and display of posters by the illustrator Isabel Ruiz Ruiz in the Library, the study room, and other spaces in the School of mathematics and Statistics. 
- ETSAB Library: ‘A la Biblioteca ETSAB visibilitzem les dones arquitectes’ exhibition displaying photographs of female architects. EPSEB Library: ‘8 dones cartogràfiques’ online exhibition.
The UPC Libraries have also made a reel to make women at the libraries more visible. This short video will be published on 8 March too.

The UPC Library of Things: the UPC Libraries aim to encourage and foster Reuse as an approach to promote environmental sustainability. The UPC Library of Things is a collection of devices and tools you can borrow: laptops, calculators, cameras, tripods, board games, video games, virtual reality glasses and more. These non-book items are part of the educational curriculum and sustainability goals of the UPC.

New UPC Libguide: the Climate Emergency. This guide includes many information resources about the climate emergency, which also support Sustainable Development Goals 11 and 13 (Sustainable Cities and Communities, and Climate Action respectively). Two already published libguides, which are also related to the SDGs Food Waste and Circular Economy for E-waste, are also available for you to check.
